Exciting Upcoming Events In Cabo San Lucas

We’ve told you before – and we’ll tell you again – living in Cabo San Lucas is never boring.  Land’s End is a never-ending destination of exciting activities and world-class events. From famous fishing tournaments to golf and yoga – you will always have something great to do. We love living here – there’s never a real ‘off season’ in our opinion – the weather is always fantastic – and it’s an amazing community of wonderful people.

We’re lucky to be a part of the Snell Real Estate family – who were kind enough to provide this great information on events for the next several weeks.  If this doesn’t make you want to move to Cabo – we don’t know what will! Fall is full of festivities and fun this year – won’t you come join us?

Living in Cabo San Lucas – Weekend Getaway To Espirtu Island

LaPazOne of the beautiful things about living in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico – besides beautiful Cabo itself – is being able to adventure North to fantastic less-traveled Mexican towns. Like the quaint Todos Santos, where the original ‘Hotel California’ is, along with spirited locals and superb dining and shopping – and La Paz, which is the capital of Baja California Sur (BCS) Mexico.

Only a few hours drive North from Cabo – La Paz is a large city, with pristine beaches, great fishing – and would easily be considered a great place to visit for those who are active and like to get out and see the beauty of Baja Mexico. Facing the Sea of Cortez, also known as the Gulf of California – which lies between Baja Mexico and mainland Mexico – La Paz has beautiful, clear – aquamarine waters.

From La Paz, you can take a boat trip, about an hour – to the exclusive Espirtu Island where you can fish, snorkle or just relax on the sugary-sand beach.  Of course it’s a wildlife sanctuary – where you can see sea lions, birds, dolphins – all having a great time in their natural habitat.  The sea lion in this picture was perfectly camouflaged with it’s surroundings – interesting rock formations – which can be found all over and around the island.

Accommodations can be found in La Paz, but not on the island. Be sure to plan at least one night, to rest in between dessert drives.
