The 2012 G-20 Mexico Summit will be held in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, June 18-19 2012. An informal, international forum which allows for discussion on economic and financial issues of global importance, the G-20 Summit encourages worldwide financial stability, and seeks sustainability and steady growth.
To date, there have been six G20 Leaders’ Summits (Washington, London, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Seoul and Cannes). At the Leaders’ level, this is the second time, following the Republic of Korea, that an emerging country holds the Presidency of the group. Mexico will become the first Latin American country to chair the annual Presidency of the group at Leader’s level.
